Live example: Sarah (business-hours host)
This page always shows Sarah hosting, whatever the clock says. She is the host during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 ET, on the real site. After about five seconds her invitation card appears above her portrait button in the bottom right.
How Sarah's chat goes
Sarah assists our Vacation Navigator team. There is no form to fill in first: she greets you and the conversation simply starts, like a real chat. A little way in, she asks for your name and email right inside the conversation, in case you get disconnected, so a Navigator can follow up even if the chat drops. She can answer basic questions and gather a few details about your trip, and a Navigator handles pricing and planning from there. When the moment is right, she passes you to a Navigator as a lead.
